Q. How do I receive my templates when I place an order?

A. As soon as your order is securely processed by WorldPay our payment gateway, you will immediately receive receipts to your e-mail account.  The download links to the templates are sent within a few hours, but please allow upto 24hrs.   You will need to unzip the files using Winzip or similar utility.

Q. What do I receive with each template/s?

A. You receive your selected template in 2 or more different colors (unless indicated by 1 color only), so in effect you get 2 templates.  Each template includes the following files:

Core .dwt (Dreamweaver) template file, .png (Fireworks) template, CSS style sheet, Javascript file, sample index file (with dummy content), images in gif and jpg format, associated fonts, setup and help-files.

.psd, index.htm and fonts (for Photoshop Templates)

CSS Style Sheet, .psd, fonts (for CSS Templates).

.fla, swf, index.htm and fonts (for Flash Templates).

Q. How many times am I permitted to use the template/s?

A. You are permitted to use your selected template one time only. If you wish to use the same template again for another site, you will need to purchase it again.

Q. How long would it take to design my site using one of your templates?

A. This really depends on the complexity of your site and your level of experience.

If your site has 5 - 10 basic text-based html pages, then it could take a couple of hours to design it.  If your site has 10 or more graphic intensive pages that includes: add-ons using Java, dhtml and ASP programming, then it could take anything from a few days to a few weeks.

The Flash templates that requires customization with Notepad only takes a few minutes to edit.  For advanced modification such as replacing images in the .fla file using Flash MX or later, this will take longer.

Q. Do, I need to display the Dreamweaver-Templates.net link at the footer, on my web site?

A. No, it's not necessary to display our link at the bottom.  However, we would appreciate if you did. This increases the referrals to our site. This Copyright info is easily replaced in the .dwt template, by typing in your own text.

Q. Would I need to inform my clients that I am using ready-made templates to design their sites?

A. We strongly advise that you let your clients know that you are using ready-made templates to design their sites.  This is good ethical business practice.

Q.Can the layout colors be changed?

A. Yes, the layout colors for the Dreamweaver Templates can be easily modified to suit your preferences. However, we recommend you following a color scheme. Our help-file will show you how to change colors.  Please refer to this.

Q. Can the layout images be replaced with my own?

A. Yes, the header images, swap images and images in the body of the layout can be replaced with your own ones.  Please refer to our online help-file on how to to this.

Q. What screen resolutions will the templates fit?

A. Our static templates will fit ALL screen resolution sizes, except where indicated. Our Flash sites are fixed layouts and do not stretch.

Q. Are the templates browser compatible?

A. Yes, the templates have been tested on the popular and latest versions of Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox and Opera.

Q. Which versions of Dreamweaver and Fireworks can I use to modify the Dreamweaver templates?

A. You can use ALL versions including from Dreamweaver 2 upto the latest DW CS3 to modify the core .dwt template file and Fireworks CS3, Studio 8, MX 2004, MX, 4.0, and 3.0 to modify the .png template file.
